The business problem
Charter operations involve a steady flow of schedules, flight logs, maintenance information and crew updates. Moving that information between separate tools added manual work and made it difficult to keep everyone working from the same picture.
The project called for a more connected approach to scheduling, document handling and communication, shaped around the workflows of the people managing flights.
What we built
- A connected aviation platform. CAPTAIN brought scheduling and operational information into one application.
- Document-to-data workflows. Processing for PDFs and flight logs, turning information in documents into records the application could use.
- AI-assisted interactions. Natural-language and voice interfaces for working with operational information and scheduling requests.
- Shared updates and access controls. Synchronized data, notifications and role-based access to support collaboration between operators and crews.
How it helped
- Less repeated handling. Document processing and connected records reduced the need to re-enter the same information across workflows.
- A shared operational picture. Schedules, logs and updates became easier to find within a connected application.
- More direct communication. Notifications and shared updates helped the team coordinate changes.
