The project need
Students need to understand their next steps, while coaches and administrators need a shared way to coordinate support and record progress. DCI’s established workflows provided the starting point for a newer student, family and staff platform.
What we built
- A student-and-family workspace. Academic progress, personal goals, a vision-board canvas and shared conversations with the coaching team.
- Staff tools and controlled access. Requirements, classes, coach assignment, completion records, family invitations and student access administration.
- Progress and recognition. Credit-based milestones and subject certificates, with correction history and authenticated access.
What it makes possible
- A connected review experience. Students can move from a goal to a next step, review recorded milestones and ask their team for help.
- Shared context for staff. Coaches and administrators work from a coordinated student record rather than separate conversations and updates.
Where the project stands
The new platform is implemented and tested locally. Production rollout and migration acceptance remain ahead. Path & Purpose is the working product name; final public naming is still under review. These screenshots show the newer platform, rather than the older production system.
